Fractured Fairy Tales


Module 1 - Time to Focus

1.     Think about one of your favourite fairy tales. 
2. Share one from own personal memories.  You might like to write

Write a recount of at least 80 –100 words.

Try using the Seven Bones to help condense your story and then reconstruct from the key words/ideas.

  1. Read a fairy tale posted on the web.

Reflect on your favourite story from the web by retelling.

  1. Do a concept map to construct your fairy tale. 
  2. Concept Maps graphically illustrates relationships between information.
  3. In a concept map, two or more concepts are linked by words that describe their relationship.               
    Concept maps encourage understanding by organizing your fairy tale.
  4. They help by integrating new ideas into existing body of knowledge.
